Dear colleagues
We are proud to announce the 9th NEUROspine Meeting, the advanced course of the Swiss Society of Neurosurgery SSNS, which is supported by the Swiss Spine Institute, the Swiss Society of Spinal Surgery (SGS) and the Swiss Federation of Clinical Neuro Societies SFCNS. On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to warmly welcome you to the Kursaal in Bern on February 28, 2019.
The upcoming meeting will cover several topics, from basic science to hard core surgery. In the morning, we will cover chronic pain and neurostimulation. This year's 9th NEUROspine meeting holds a joint session whit AO-Spine and the Swiss Spine Institute which will highlight “anterior lumbar instrumentation” for degenerative lumbar disease.
In the afternoon, we will analyze the relationship between spine and access surgeon by a video session with Rick Guyer and Sandy Moore from the Texas Back Institute. In addition, Rick Guyer will talk about problems of adoption in the USA from the disc arthroplasty and the total disc prothesis. In the last session, a discussion about diagnosis and management of sacroiliac joint syndrome will be held.
The attractive program should catch the attention of neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons with a strong interest in spine surgery, but also anesthesiologists, neurologists, rheumatologists, interventional radiologists, chiropractors, physiotherapists and osteopaths.
We look forward to welcoming you to Berne.
Sincerely yours,
Prof. Adrian Merlo, MD, Bern
